Learning Conversations

You may have noticed from last week’s post, that one of the events that we’d like to hold on a regular basis as part of sustaining and growing WellyED is a discussion forum.

We’d like to tell you a bit more about this, and encourage you to get involved by completing this Google Form to express your ideas.

What we’re imagining is gathering at different schools, perhaps once or twice a term, to simply have a chat about a pre-determined educational topic. Maybe think of it as an #edchatNZ chat, but face-to-face with local educators.

You’ll get to meet like-minded colleagues from schools across the region, share examples of practice, learn and debate hot topics. We’d really like student learners to be involved too – to hear their voice and embody ako.

We’re hoping to hold the first one on Tuesday of Week 8 this term so organisation will need to move reasonably quickly. Please let us know what you’d like to talk about, and whether you could host a session. We aim to support, inspire and collaborate, and you’re invited along for the ride!
